Having a dog can be a fantastic experience, but sometimes they can bring stress, tears and frustration when things don't go to plan. Working with an experienced dog trainer is a must... to ensure that not only your dog learns the rights and wrongs but you do too.
Our multiple levels of classes cater for everyone. Each stage comes with both theory and practical lessons, making sure the progress and learning continues through your time at class.
Don't have your dog yet?
Please don’t wait until your dog is old enough to join one of our classes - Learning starts the day you bring your puppy home...Why not contact us about a puppy visit to make sure you kick start their home coming in the correct manner,
Due to high demand, our classes fill very quickly so make sure you plan joining our classes are carefully as you plan picking your puppy.
Our residential training is rewarding, enjoyable & fun, to ensure that your dog not only enjoys his training experience, but retains all of the training for long lasting results. Our Team maintain high training standards and aim to achieve the best possible results with each individual dog working with the owners before and after your dog’s stay to make sure that the programme is tailored specifically for your own needs.
We offer several training durations –
7 Day Stay - “Seven day sharpen up” This is for dogs that have previously trained with us and you feel that your dog can do with a reinforcing training week to keep them sharp.
14 Day Stay - This develops the training and start to establish the behaviours in different locations.
28 Day stay – This is our recommended programme – due to your dog being with us for a longer duration to make sure the training is more established and becomes second nature to them. The programme will be trained in the most realistic environment so that they learn to behave everywhere, not just in a training field. Your dog will learn vital skills in the home, out on walks and in public areas resulting in a well-balanced all-round dog.
You, the owner will receive hands on training at the end of the stay to ensure that the training stays in place. This has been proven to be the best and most successful way to train any dog if you struggle to dedicate the time to regular weekly classes or 1-2-1 lessons.
Cost on Application.
Our behaviour modification programme is for anyone that feels they would benefit from 1-2-1 sessions developing issues they face on a day to day basis with their own dogs but feel they would also like to be involved in the training process. This programme does require more dedication and time from the owner and means that there are regular visits either to your home or the training centre. Homework and training tasks will be issued to make sure the learning and progression continues moving in the correct direction. These sessions can take place at our training centre in Lechlade (GL7 3DL) or in your own home.
