Anthony Clarke is known all around the world for competing and handling agility dogs, from an early age Anthony has been successful with his training of dogs and this has seen him compete for his country on many occasions, his desire to help and develop dogs and handler partnerships sees him finally opening up the Lechlade K9 Centre.
With over 27 years’ experience in dog grooming and 36 years of general dog’s ownership Jackie is the Head Dog Groomer at Lechlade K9 Centre in the Lechlade Dog Grooming department. Her grooming is carried out with a caring, professional and loving attitude. Your dog will be given a first class service when visiting Jackie.
Clare has worked within the animal industry all of her working life, she started work within a veterinary practice at the age of 19 and worked here for 14 years where she gained a wide knowledge of animal ailments and treatments plus gaining her Certificate of Competence in the Safe Use of Veterinary Medicines. Clare then moved into the field of canine hydrotherapy after experiencing the benefits of it first hand with one of her own dogs and now has over 12 years experience within canine hydrotherapy and has even swum a cat for rehabilitation.
Clare ran her own hydrotherapy centre up until July 2015. She holds her Level 3 Certificate in Canine Hydrotherapy and is fully trained in all aspects of anatomy, physiology, the musculoskeletal system and first aid. She has also undertaken further training in the rehabilitation of spinal and arthritic conditions. Clare currently owns 4 dogs herself plus a number of other animals at home on their smallholding.
Julie has worked with horses nearly all her life, but last year after 34 years of equine dedication changed her career path into canine field and became very interested in K9 Hydrotherapy. She worked at Cotswold Canine Hydrotherapy in Cirencester for 5 months before it closed. Julie joined the Lechlade K9 Centre Team in August 2015 working as an Hydrotherapy assistant in our rehabilitation unit along side Claire Robbins. Julie owns two “water babies” of her own, both Labradors, Indie, 10.5 years of age and Inca who is 2 years old.
Tanya has worked in veterinary practice for nearly 12 years, and has a vast knowledge of veterinary product, treatments and holds a BTEC in veterinary practice client care.
She has a keen interest in dogs, and has owned Belgian Shepherds for over 29 Years, only recently adding a Shetland sheepdog to the mix. Since the age of 10, Tanya has been involved in the sport of dog Agility, and has travelled and competed all over the country. At Present she has two dogs called Dollar and Taxi, both of which she trains and competes with, Taxi being the young hopeful!
Tanya is also an Illustrator, working in the card and gift industry for many years, producing work for the likes of Hallmark, Unicef, M&S and many others, and has her own brand, ‘Top Dollar Design’ inspired by her very own dog ‘Dollar’.
